By Bosco Hitimanaon the EABW website"KIGALI, RWANDA - The EAC has launched a web portal administered in Rwanda to ensure harmonised quality product standards throughout the region. The web portal is an initiative of the EAC member states with the support of the Germany Institute of Metrology. 
The ceremony to officially launch the portal was held at the Hotel des mille collines in Kigali on November 5.

The acting director of the Rwanda Bureau of Standards (RBS), Mr. Anastase Kimonyo said the East African Quality Web Portal is a project initiated and owned by the East African Community national standards bodies."
