Written by Sam Ruburica of Focus Media Online"On Thursday, the Champions Investment Corporation (Chic) was officially launched in Kigali. It is a joint-venture of some 300 shareholders, who eventually hope to raise Frw 5 billion in order to set up major investment projects in Kigali.
Chic is the brainchild of the Private Sector Federation, which has this year set up a program to establish similar corporation in every province. The idea is to bring together resources to finance business projects which individual entrepreneurs or companies would not be able to tackle."
