
"Kigali - Rwanda has recorded a surge in private investment with 2007 seeing entry of 123 new projects totaling some Rwf 271B ($50million), but investment technocrats here say that is no cause to sit back because 52% of these investors are local - meaning not enough foreigners are eying the country, RNA reports.
Come next year, according to the investment promotion agency (RIEPA), there will be a commercial court in place, new commercial legislation and a land registry - all among incentives aimed at bringing in more Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)."
