"TRADE between Uganda and Rwanda has increased by 15 per cent, according to Rwanda Revenue Authority.
Imports and exports from both sides have increased in both volumes and total revenues raising trade benefits between the two sister states by billions of shillings as reflected in the 2007 Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) data sheet.

By the end of last year, Rwanda had imported over 280 million tonnes of goods from Uganda valued at about Frw49b (Shs147b) up from Frw30.9 billion (Shs92.7b) in 2006, showing an increase of Shs54.3b."
