Kenya: Country to Lose Niche As Rwanda Picks Dar

"Kenya's cargo handlers stand to lose substantial business following a decision by Rwanda to move petroleum products and other imports through Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania's main port.

The action by Rwanda follows a month of civil unrest along the Mombasa-Malaba highway that has cut off the flow of goods to landlocked countries in the Great Lake's region including Uganda, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi."
