Months of planning, communication, endless practice, anticipation and stress culminated into the inaugural Miss Tourism East Africa UK 2008 pageant held at University College London. It was organised by GKAT, a subsidiary company owned by Gloria Katatumba Malara.
Models from five East African countries presented culture in fashion design. The pageant was attended by guests from around the UK and Europe including the President of Miss Tourism Planet George Kutulias. Five Winners will represent their countries at the grand final in Greece in July.
